This is an easy pattern, easy to follow stitch.
I decided to make a cowl out of this stitch as winter is just around the corner here in Australia.
All you need:
5mm hook
light green 100/ acrylic, 8ply yarn
scissor
Stitches are in US terms:
Row 1 : Make a number of chain divisible by 3 plus 1 and 4 extra turning.
Row 2 : in the 5th chain from hook make 2dc, ch2, 1sc same space
*skip 2 sts., make 2dc, ch2, 1sc to the next st.
repeat * until last 3 sts., skip 2 sts.,
1sc into last st.
Row 3 : Ch3 count as first dc,
* work (2dc, ch2, 1sc) next ch2 space
repeat* to end.
1sc into 4th chain of ch4.
Row 4 : Repeat row 3 but ending with 1sc into 3rd chain of ch3.
And until you have your desired length of your scarf.
*don't forget to turn your work
Please feel free to msg me if you have questions.

DeleteI'm hoping you still see comments on this pattern. I came across it recently and it's the perfect pattern to make blankets for my granddaughters. They always picked me forget me not flowers so this is perfect for me to give to them with a note about the stitch. It will have special meaning as they get older. The stitch is so pretty & simple - a one row repeat that I can do while watching tv. Thanks for sharing.
