A leaf stitch ear warmer or mini scarf for little cutie

This is basic stitch, formed like a leaf, easy to follow pattern.
It's good in making scarves, ear warmer or even a blanket. Perfect in anything :)

All you need:

5mm hook
8 ply acrylic homemaker yarn
two buttons, i used heart shape buttons
Fluppy pink yarn for edging

Let's begin here:

Make a number of chain divisible by 2 plus 1 for extra turning.

for adult, chain 88 plus 1
for toddler chain 70 plus 1

Row 1: Into 3rd chain from hook, work 2sc, *skip 1 st., work 2sc into next st
repeat from * to the last 2sts., skip 1 st., 1sc into last chain.

Row 2: Ch2 to count as first st, skip first sc,
* skip 1sc, work 2sc into next sc, repeat from* to end
1sc into turning chain.

Repeat row 2 until you have 12 rows or more.

For the edging, i used fluffy yarn colour pink, work sc all around
or you can use the white acrylic yarn.

Hope you enjoy this pattern.
