Bill's Scarf



This close fabric stitch is ideal to make a blanket, scarf, less holes, make your crochet work so smooth and tight.

I named the scarf after my husband name. :)









Materials I used:

5mm hook
homemaker 8 ply acrylic yarn
black and white
scissor
yarn needle for weaving ends

The size of this scarf is 46inch height ( not including the tassel)
7 inches wide
Feel warm and looks good, you can wear it wherever you go :)


Row 1 : With black, make a number of chain divisible by 2, or 160 chain
               plus 3 extra.


Row 2: Work 1sc and 1dc into 5th chain from the hook (as picture above)
              * skip 1chain, to the next st., work 1sc and 1dc repeat *
              to the last 2sts.,skip 1chain, sc to the last chain.

Row 3: Ch3 count as first dc, * work 1sc and 1dc into next sc of previous row
               repeat from * to end, 1sc to the 4th of chain 4.
            * Change colour ( optional)
             







Row 4 : Repeat row 3 ending 1sc into 3rd of chain 3 and until you have the desired length of your scarf.

Note: you can make a stripe scarf or one colour,

I made 4 rows of  colour black
*2 rows white
2 rows black
2 rows white
4 rows of black
 repeat *
 then 4 rows of black for the finishing rows


For the tassels

* Cut white and black in 20 inch long,  take 5 pieces of yarn and tie it on the scarf.

Husband was so happy with this scarf,i will make 3 more for  myself and my kids with different colours.
